The Golden Quest Discovery Trail is managed by the community based Goldfields Tourism Network Association Incorporated. The Association has responsibility for ensuring that the ongoing development of the Trail is sustainable. It does this through:
- Promoting the Trail and its many attractions;
- Working with businesses and community groups along the Trail; and
- Ensuring the Trail signage and other related infrastructure is in good working order.
The Golden Quest Discovery Trail was initially developed by the Australia Unlimited Taskforce and the Goldfields Esperance Development Commission from April 2000 to March 2003. This was made possible through the Federal Government's Regional Assistance Program.
